Samsung will unveil a new robotic vacuum cleaner at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The new vacuum will be called the Smart Tango Corner Clean. It features a pop-out brush to improve cleaning efficiency. The vacuum can clean automatically. It can also be controlled with a smartphone app.

The design of the robot does bear some resemblance to a CD player (if the brushes are folded in), as some Engadget commenters are suggesting.

The Roomba will be getting plenty of new competition at this year's CES. LG is also unveiling a new robot vacuum at next week's electronics show.
