Black Rock Coffee Bar Expands into San Antonio

Black Rock Coffee Bar has expanded into San Antonio. This is Black Rock Coffee Bar's first location in the San Antonio metro area and 15th in the state of Texas. The coffee chain was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2008.

The San Antonio location is about 2,000 square feet. It incorporates Black Rock's signature industrial modern design and features a large Texas-themed mural. Black Rock now has over 100 locations in seven states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

The Black Rock menu includes favorites like Blackout, Caramel Blonde, Irish Coffee, I.V., Jackhammer and Mexican Mocha. The serve hot or iced beverages. They have over two dozen syrup offerings.

Josh Pike, CEO of Black Rock Coffee Bar, says in the announcement, "We are proud to say that we now have a presence in four of the largest cities in Texas – Austin, Dallas, Houston and now San Antonio. We've had our eye on San Antonio for quite some time because we think it's a community that aligns with our culture. We look forward to serving San Antonians great coffee, providing an engaging experience by our baristas and cultivating some long-lasting relationships."
