Serena Williams Wins 16th Grand Slam Title and 2nd French Open Championship

Serena Williams has won the 16th Grand Slam of her career and her second French Open championship after defeating Maria Sharapova, 6-4, 6-4. NPR reports that this was Serena's first French Open win in 11 years. She was very excited and celebrated by kneeling on the court and clutching her fists in triumph.

CNN's Amanda Davis interviewed Serena after he big win. Serena said the win is much more sweet this time around. She said she was too young to even realize what it meant 11 years ago. Take a look:
