Southwest Airlines Jet Gets Stuck in the Mud, Pilot Explains Snafu to Tower

The wintry weather caused many travel delays and snafus over the holidays. One Southwest Airlines jet had a really bizarre problem: it got stuck in the mud. The plane was cleared for takeoff from Long Island and somehow the pilot veered off the runway into the grass. The plane got stuck in the mud. Everyone had to be taken off the plane while crews towed the plane back on the runway. In this clip, you can hear the pilot try to explain to the control tower what happened.
