Stephen Colbert and Anna Wintour Make a Date to Eat at Long John Silver's

Anna Wintour was a guest on The Colbert Report to promote the Costume Institute's new exhibition. She gave as good as she got, taking Stephen to task for his boring suit. Stephen challenged her on the idea that fashion can be art. Anna said that it can be both. She also said that a cheer went up at the Vogue offices when President Obama announced his support for gay marriage.

But the funniest part of the interview came when Stephen asked Anna, "Is there ever a time when you cannot care about fashion? Do you ever just say to yourself, 'To hell with this,' put on your zebra-striped sweat pants and go to Long John Silver's and just lose yourself in a pile of batter-fried shrimp?" Anna said she never had done that, but perhaps she should. Stephen said they should do it together and she said "it's a date!" Stephen looked a bit surprised, but now he has a date with Anna to eat fried food at a Long John Silver's. The mind boggles. Take a look:
