Study: Women Find Men in Red More Attractive

Ron Burgundy RedReuters reports that a new study has found that women find men wearing red more sexually attractive. The study found the same results with women from different parts of the world, including the United States, England, Germany and China. The study was published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology. A similar study in 2008 also found that people find the color red more attractive.

Andrew Elliot, one of the lead authors for the study from the University of Rochester, said, "Our findings suggest that the link between red and sex also applies to men. For women, the color made a big difference."

Elliot also said women in the study viewed the men in red as "higher in status" and "more likely to make money and climb the social ladder." Elliot thinks it is this high status judgement that leads to the attraction. Take a look:
