Gap Close

Fashion Week Daily reports that the Gap will soon be launching its first fragrance. The new fragrance called Close will go on sale April 23rd. It was created by fragrance house Givaudan and developed by Interparfums. Patrick Robinson, who is overseeing the project, told Fashion Week Daily that the perfume is composed of salty citrus, florals, sandalwood and vanilla.

Close is packaged in a flacon that is modeled after an opal: "When I think of Gap, I think of a white shirt, khakis, and a pair of jeans," said Robinson, "and all of those colors show up in an opal."
