Tips for Avoiding Rising Food, Gas and Clothing Costs in 2011

Food, gas and home heating costs are all expecting to rise in 2011. CBS News business and economics correspondent Rebecca Jarvis has some advice for ways you can cut costs in the new year.

Rebecca Jarvis says coupons are one way to cut back on food costs. She recommends a site called Coupon Suzy for grocery coupons. She recommends for clothing coupons. She also says budgeting and pre-planning are important, otherwise you may spend more than you intend to.

Rebecca Jarvis says wholesale clubs, which offer lower gas prices, can be help you save money if they are located near you. Take a look:
