Tips for Flying With Your Pet

Consumer Reports has provided some advice for traveling with pets. They warn that 23 pets died during commercial air transit in 2009. Temperatures are a serious issue and airlines will not allow some breeds of pets, such as Persian cats, to fly as cargo during the warm summer months. You wouldn't want a sensitive pet flying during the summer anyway, because it could be very unsafe for your pet. Airlines will not fly pets that are too young or need special treatment. Airlines will also only allow a few pets to board on a flight. Consumer Reports also provides some tips here on its website. Take a look:
