Here is trailer for Big Sur which stars Kate Bosworth, Josh Lucas, Balthazar Getty, Stana Katic, Anthony Edwards, and Jean-Marc Barr. Kate's fiance, Michael Polish, wrote and directed the film which is based on the Jack Kerouac novel. Big Sur tells the story of a bestselling author (based on Kerouac himself) and his trips to a secluded cabin in Big Sur, California, owned by his friend, a Beat poet.

Kerouac based all the characters on his real friends, but changed the names for the book. From the trailer, the film looks quite moody and atmospheric. It will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, 2013. Take a look:
