Leighton Meester gets the chance to go the full crazy in the upcoming film The Roommate, which is pretty much Single White Female Goes to College. Minka Kelly plays Sarah, who heads off to college. Her new roommate is Rebecca, played by Leighton Meester. They become best friends and share so many interests. Until one day it becomes clear that Rebecca is totally obsessed with Sarah and is, in fact, super, duper crazy. Like, violent crazy.
Best scene in the trailer: Sarah meets Rebecca's mom who asks if Rebecca is still taking her medication every day. Ha! Cam Gigandet, Billy Zane and Alyson Michalka also star. The film is directed by Christian E. Christiansen. Here's the (unintentionally) hilarious trailer:
