Twin Polar Bear Cubs Make Debut at Hellabrunn Zoo in Germany

Twin polar bear cubs make their debut at the Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich, Germany. The cubs explored the enclosure with their mother, Giovanna, by their side. The adorable cubs are 14 months old.

Zoo director Dr. Andreas Knieriem says in a statement, "I could spend hours watching our two cubs as they explore their new world. Every stone, every blade of grass, every ray of sunshine is a new discovery. And thanks to the loving care and unadulterated playfulness of their mama Giovanna, the little ones have a wonderful big playmate. It's a real pleasure watching the three of them."

The cubs stayed very close to their mom as they explored and bounded after her if she got too far ahead of them. The cubs also played in the mud and water. Take a look:
