Usain Bolt Signs Huge Endorsement Deal With Puma

The Guardian reports that Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, 24, has signed a huge sponsorship deal with Puma. Usain Bolt has already been with the brand, but will extending his contract with Puma to 2013. The Guardian calls the deal the largest in athletics history and say the amount is around $32.5 million.

Usain Bolt says, "Yeah, definitely, definitely, [others] were interested. But for me Puma is the No1 in my book. We've been together for years now, they are my family so I don't want to start with a new family. You want money, but it's also got to be about the comradeship between you and your company."

Usain Bolt is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and world record holder in the 100m (9.58 seconds) and 200m (19.19 seconds).

Usain talks about his relationship with the Puma brand in a CNBC interview on YouTube. He says they have stuck with him through everything.
