Vandals Flipping Smart Cars in San Francisco

Posted on May 3, 2014

Vandals have been flipping over Smart Cars in San Francisco. The small cars are lighter than others and more easily flipped than a regular car. However, it still takes six to eight people to flip one of the cars. A tow truck is required to right the flipped vehicles.

It looks like quite a bit of damage is caused to the vehicles when they are flipped. At the minimum the damage includes major dents and broken windows. Some smart car owners are concerned because they don't have garages for their vehicles leaving them vulnerable to the car tipping vandals. This is not a funny prank. We hope they catch the idiots who are doing this. The crime may be a significant one due to the damage caused to the little cars.
