Video: Bridge Collapses in Vermont From Hurricane Irene Floodwaters

CNN reports that Susan Hammond captured this video of a bridge in Vermont collapsing because of flooding following Hurricane Irene. Vermont ended up being one of the states hardest hit by Hurricane Irene. Flooding has taken out roads and bridges in the state and stranded at least a dozen towns. The Burlington Free Press reports that the devastation is widespread in Vermont.
