Video: Is Being Overweight the New Normal?

A new study says Americans are in denial about CDC findings that more than two-thirds of adults are clinically obese or overweight. CNN's Kyra Phillips talks with Dr. Mwata Dyson about the findings and whether overweight is the new normal, given the fact that the majority of Americans are overweight. Kyra wants to know why people don't just lose weight to be healthy.

Dr. Dyson says it's not that simple. He says for one thing people are incredibly stressed out right now because of the bad economy and many are out of work. Many Americans do not have access to healthy foods: either they aren't close by (such as in the inner cities, which usually have no grocery stores with fresh produce) or because they can't afford expensive, healthy foods.

Dr. Dyson was doing great until the end of the segment until he suggest that when he returns to the show that he and Kyra share their waist sized with the audience. Ha! Like Kyra's going to do that. The look on her face is priceless. Take a look:
