Nina Dobrev Talks About Katherine Pierce's Past, Speaking Bulgarian

Nina Dobrev has shot to stardom playing the dual roles of teen Elena Gilbert and vampire Katherine Pierce on the hit CW television show The Vampire Diaries.

In this interview, Nina talks about playing two roles and what she enjoys about each. Nina was born in Bulgaria and moved to Canada when she was a toddler, but her parents made sure she stayed fluent in her native language. The producers of the show are using that fact in tonight's episode, when we get to see Katherine's backstory. Nina will be speaking Bulgarian, and it should be a pretty interesting episode.
