Virginia Elementary School Closes Because of Norovirus

A school in Virginia has been closed due to the norovirus. John Adams Elementary School will be thoroughly disinfected by a professional cleaning crew before the children can return. NBC 4 reports that 200 students and 30 teachers have fallen ill to a suspected norovirus during the outbreak. Sick individuals have suffered from symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, which are typical norovirus symptoms. The AP says a Virginia high school has also been closed for cleaning. Take a look:
