Wanda Sykes Reveals to Ellen DeGeneres That She Had Breast Cancer, Double Mastectomy

Wanda Sykes revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she had breast cancer. She was having a breast reduction in February, because she said she was tired of knocking over stuff. He back was sore and she wanted a reduction. After they finished the surgery they found she had DCIS in her left breast. She says that's like stage 0. She could either go back every three months for MRI or have a radical mastetomy. She has a family history of breast cancer, and opted for a a double mastectomy on August 4th of this year. She now has zero chance of getting breast cancer.

She said she doesn't want to be the poster child for breast cancer, because she's already black and a lesbian, and she can't be the poster child for everything. Plus, she hates walking and now she has all these breast cancer walks coming up. She is just so funny -- and brave. Take a look:
