War of the Tomato Held in Quillon, Chile

12,000 people participated in "Guerra del Tomate," or "War of the Tomato," an annual tomato fight in Quillon, Chile. The fight begins with participants running toward a huge pit of tomatoes. 50 tons of tomatoes were used in the fight. Young and old participated int he tomatoe fight. The AP says the tomato fight is the Chilean's town take on the larger tomato festival held each year in Bunol, Spain. Take a look:
