Woman Killed on Texas Giant Roller Coaster at Six Flags Over Texas

A woman was killed yesterday on the Texas Giant, an enormous roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas. It appears the woman fell to her death from the 14-story roller coaster. The Dallas News reports that early investigations are focused on reports by witnesses who say the woman's restraint came undone. Some people on the ride say they saw the woman fly of the ride. The woman's son was reportedly on the ride in front of her. It is a very sad accident. The park issued a statement that the ride has been closed as it investigates. They may need to seriously consider adding a secondary restraint so people don't get hurt or killed on these types of fast moving rides if the first restraint fails. Take a look:
