Kia Motors partnered with DC Entertainment and Super Street magazine to launch a Wonder Woman-inspired Kia Sportage at the New York International Auto Show. The red and blue exterior color scheme, accented with stars, was inspired by Wonder Woman's outfit. The gold trim wrapped around the vehicle represents yer weapon of choice, The Lasso of Truth.
Other features on the car include a grille inspired by Wonder Woman's eagle chest-plate emblem and a windshield banner portraying her tiara. The interior is also inspired by Wonder Woman, with red upholstery, custom seats embroidered with her logo and a cargo area adorned with stars, an eagle and a see-through panel that displays the superhero's tiara, bracelets and lasso.
Jim Lee, co-publisher of DC Entertainment, said in a statement, "It's exciting to join Kia in revealing the final car to represent a member of the Justice League, Wonder Woman, at the New York Auto Show. This joint effort to raise awareness for the 'We Can Be Heroes' giving campaign continues to be a huge draw for fans across the country, and I'm sure New Yorkers will agree that the new Wonder Woman-inspired Sportage is a 'must see' feature at the show."
