Amazon Launches Amazon Saver Grocery Brand

Amazon has announced a new house brand called Amazon Saver. The brand features grocery items such as crackers, cookies, canned fruit, canned vegetables, lunch meat and condiments.
Amazon says Amazon Saver "complements the company's selection of private-label brands, designed to provide the best value for a range of grocery products."
Amazon also says that most Amazon Saver items cost less than $5 and Prime members can get an extra 10% off the items. Amazon Saver is starting with a few items and plans to add over 100 items to Amazon Saver in the future.
Amazon Saver is part of an savings expansion for Amazon Prime members at Amazon Fresh. Amazon says it is offering great savings on over 3,000 grocery items from Prime members. Here are the details:
- Up to 50% off eight to 15 grocery favorites that rotate each week, including fresh produce, protein, and pantry staples.
- More than 1,200 rotating Prime-exclusive grocery items and household favorites from top brands 25% off.
- Over 1,700 products from Amazon private-label brands always 10% off—including Aplenty, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Kitchen, 365 by Whole Foods Market, Happy Belly, and the company's newest offering, Amazon Saver.
Amazon offers a 30-day free trial for Amazon Prime.
