Chipotle Launches New Pollo Asado and Chili Lime Chips

Chipotle has launched two limited-time menu items: a newly formulated Pollo Asado and new Chili Lime Chips. The Pollo Asado features freshly grilled adobo chicken seasoned with garlic and Mexican spices. It is finished with hand-cut cilantro, citrus and real lime for a savory, smoky flavor.

Chipotle’s new Chili Lime Chips are tossed fresh daily with real lime and chili seasoning. The chips were inspired by an online trend in which customers pair seasoned packaged chips with Chipotle meals or crush them over burrito bowls.

Nevielle Panthaky, Senior Vice President of Culinary at Chipotle, says in the announcement, "With this new recipe, we wanted to bring more brightness and dimension to Pollo Asado while preserving its savory, smoky flavor. The citrus finish cuts through the smoky notes of the chicken and naturally complements the tangy, spiced seasoning of our Chili Lime Chips.”

Pollo Asado is available now for a limited time at participating Chipotle restaurants in the United States and Canada. Chipotle Rewards members can also order the Chili Lime Chips through the Chipotle app and website. The chips become available to everyone on September 4.
