Gisele Bundchen Wears Gold Sequined Dress by Alexandre Herchcovitch at 2016 Rio Olympics

Gisele Bundchen walked a very long runway in a gold sequined dress by Alexandre Herchcovitch during the Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics. She walked alone across the stage as the song "The Girl From Ipanema" played. It may have been the last catwalk for the retired Brazilian supermodel.

Gisele looked amazing in the gold sequined dress. It was designed by Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch. Herchcovtich talked to Vogue about the dress. He says he used a "golden light" fabric instead of convention gold because he wanted a color similar to her skin and hair tone. He says the fabric was specially developed for the event.
