Here are some features of the new eyewear:

- Battery Life: Up to eight hours of use on a full charge, with an additional 19 hours on standby. The glasses can reach 50% charge in 20 minutes.
- Camera: Capture video in Ultra HD (3K) video.
- Speakers: Open-ear speakers integrated into the frames.
- Water Resistance: IPX4 rating.
The glasses are based on Oakley's existing HSTN style.
Caio Amato, Global President of Oakley, says in the announcement, "For 50 years, we've been pushing the boundaries of what is possible, obsessed with solving unsolved problems. Together with Meta we are setting new bounds of reality-It is not only about pushing forward performance, but also about amplifying human potential as never before. And this is just the first chapter of a new era for sports."
Pre-orders start on July 11 at $499 USD, with additional models in the collection priced starting at $399 USD. The glasses are set to be released later this summer.
The glasses will be sold at Meta.com. Meta also sells its AI glasses on Amazon.com.
