Brad Pitt and Penelope Cruz star in the new Chanel handbag campaign. The stars are sitting together at a table outside a restaurant. A Chanel handbag sits on the table between them.
A black Chanel handbag also sits between the two stars in a car with Brad Pitt behind the wheel.
The film was directed by Inez & Vinoodh. It pays tribute to the film A Man and a Woman by French director Claude Lelouch.
The short film was used to introduced the Chanel Fall/Winter 2024 Ready-to-Wear show. Take a look:
Penelope is a Chanel House ambassador and wore Chanel to the recent 2024 SAG Awards. She talks about the ad in this video:
Penelope says, "A Man and a Woman by Claude Lelouch is really one of my favorite films of all time. Of course, I never thought about doing a remake because when a movie is so perfect you don’t need to do a remake. But this is not a remake. This is kind of a beautiful homage."
