Amazon Announces Prime Day 2024 Dates

Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day will return this year. The dates are July 16-17.
Amazon says in the announcement that Prime Day 2024 will contain millions of deals for Amazon Prime members. It will include brands like Clinique, Allbirds, and Kiehl's. There will be new deals dropping as often as every five minutes. There will also be new Invite-only deals such as up to 40% off Sony Wireless Headphones and up to 30% off Peloton products.
Prime Day got a big kick off this year with a fun original song, "It's Prime Day," by Megan Thee Stallion. The items she buys in the video are also shoppable on Amazon.com.
Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, says in the announcement, "Prime Day is a celebration of the value we bring to members all year long, and features millions of deals across more than 35 product categories as well as discounts on Amazon devices, quality entertainment, groceries, travel, and more during the event. In fact, over the course of last year, Amazon customers saved nearly $24 billion from deals and coupons—with Prime members enjoying the vast majority of those savings—including over $2.5 billion during Prime Day 2023.
Amazon has some early deals available as well. These include offers for Amazon Music Unlimited and Audible. There are early Prime Day deals available for rentals, movie buys and channels in Prime Video. More early deals will come from influencers starting July 8th. The influencers dropping deal news will include Jess Sims, Alyssa McKay, Monet McMichael, Jared McCain, Millie Bobby Brown, Meredith Duxbury, and Alix Earle.
There are also some early device deals with up to 63% off camera and video doorbell products from Blink and Ring and deals on select Amazon tablets. The device deals will grow as Prime Day draws closer.
