Versace: RTW Spring 2011 Fashion Show

Posted on September 24, 2010

The house of Versace has used the classic greek key design since Gianni Versace founded the line. For the Spring 2011 ready to wear show, Donatella Versace told Hilary Alexander that she wanted to take that iconic image and change it up a bit. She also was focused on fringe and prints.

The palette for this collection is based on bright colors of orange, red, robin's egg blue, white and black. The clothes are very body conscious, with a mixture of lengths. There are darling sundresses, fun day dresses, and lots of gowns. Donatella is loving the below the knee length. The sandals have very high heels and ankle straps are still key for spring.
