Amazon to Sell Latest iPhone, iPads and Apple Watches

Amazon will soon be selling the latest Apple products, including iPhones, iPads and the Apple Watch. Reuters reports that Amazon and Apple have cut a deal that will make Apple products available on Amazon in time for holiday shopping.
Amazon already sells lots of Apple accessories, Mac computers and Beats products and older models of Apple phones and tablets. They now will be carrying the most recent versions of the very popular iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The deal does not include the HomePod.
The deal between Amazon and Apple also means that Amazon will curb sales of Apple products from unauthorized third-party resellers. Gizmodo calls this the end of the "wild west of Apple products."
It is not known what discounting flexibility Amazon will have. We will likely find out soon with Black Friday rapidly approaching. A MacWorld report says the products could be up for sale by Black Friday but not that "if you're expecting deep discounts and Amazon's popular Lightning Deals, you’re probably going to be disappointed."
That is likely to turn out to be true, but with the latest Apple products even small discounts are often welcomed by Apple fans.
