New Furby Boom Toy Works With App

Posted on August 7, 2013

Hasbro has a new Furby toy out in time for the holidays. The new Furby, called Furby Boom, has twice the memory and twice the responses of its predecessors. There are six Furby Boom toys available. Furby Boom Triangles is pictured above.

The new Furby works in tandem with a free app that will be released on August 20, 2013. The app can be used to give your Furby a virtual shower, scan it to see why it is not feeling well and feed it virtual food. You can also name your Furby using the app. Your Furby will remember its name as well as the names of any Furbies it encounters. You can also hatch furblings using the app.

The Furby Boom toys will cost $65. The free app will be available for download on the Apple iTunes store and on the Google Play store. Take a look:

Furby Boom has been discontinued by Hasbro but they can still be found on eBay.
