Jessica Simpson Talks New Lingerie Line

Jessica Simpson discusses her new lingerie line with WWD. The Camuto Group, which holds the master license for all of Jessica's fashion ventures, inked a deal with Vandale Industries to create the new line, which Jessica is very involved with. The collection launches to retailers this week in Manhattan. Jessica talked about her love for lingerie and the tone of the new collection.
It is important to me personally...to be able to wear my own line. Vandale is developing a great collection of feminine...regular and full-figured bras which are going to be amazing. We are also working on a sleepwear collection that I know I will live in. We have focused on using really soft fabrics that feel good against your skin. The whole line centers around great basics for every day that are comfortable and fit your body. We spent a lot of time on the details. I really wanted to make this line special."
Jessica especially loves the seersucker group in the collection which she calls "classic and adorable." She describes the entire line as "feminine and sweet with a hint of fun."
Jessica grew her fashion business into a billion dollar business that also includes dresses, jeans and more. She discussed the business with with Teen Vogue's Amy Astley on Today.
