Katy Perry Barbie Doll

Mattel created a Katy Perry Barbie doll to benefit Project Angel Food. The inspiration for the doll was Katy Perry's "California Gurls" music video. Mattel Barbie designer Amy Lee went into great detail on the Barbie doll, which contains 70 hand-painted cupcakes, a glittered candy cane microphone and fishnet stockings with embedded Swarovski crystals.

The doll is being auctioned on Charitybuzz.com. The bidding will end on Mon, 19 Dec 2011 at 3:00 PM EST. The Barbie has an estimated value of $15,000.

Here's a closeup of the intricate cupcake details on the dress.
