LEGO Teases Find My Brick App

April Fool's Day sometimes feels like April Tease Day. We are shown things that could be cool that we cannot have. LEGO is teasing a new app called "Find My Brick" today, April 1st. The image shows a pile of LEGO bricks being scanned with a smartphone to find a small yellow brick.
LEGO says, "The long search is finally over..." This is an April Fool's ploy but the technology is certainly plausible. If we can have facial recognition, then in theory we should have the technology to find a brick of a specific size and shape in a pile of other bricks. The comments on Twitter are filled with people saying basically, "Okay, now really make this."
Everyone has had the missing brick experience. Sometimes when we finally find a missing brick it was right there all along hiding in plain sight.
