Lift Brands Launches YogaFit Studios

Lift Brands has launched a 24/7 yoga franchise concept called YogaFit Studios. The company plans to open 1,000 of the studios in the next five years. The studios will offer live and virtual on-demand yoga classes. The first YogaFit Studios location is set to open May 2014 in Excelsior, Minnesota.
YogaFit training has certified nearly 200,000 yoga instructors since 1997. Lift Brands entered into a licensing deal with YogaFit in 2013.
Peter Taunton, Lift Brands Founder and CEO, says in a statement, "Our goal is to open 1,000 domestic studios over the next five years offering the independent yogi, yoga instructor, or wellness entrepreneur the opportunity to own a meaningful slice of the yoga business worldwide. We are confident yoga is here to stay and we are targeting aggressive expansion"
