U.S. Postal Service Unveils 2012 Love Stamp
Posted on August 8, 2011

The U.S. Postal Service has released an image of its 2012 Love stamp. We love this stamp design. The bold stamp, called Love Ribbons, features a graphic design of pink-tinged, satin ribbons that spell out the word "Love" in a cursive script. The Forever stamp has a bright red background.
Graphic designer Louise Fili worked with art director Derry Noyes on the 2012 Love stamp.
The announcement ceremony features a performance by U.S. Olympic hopeful Julie Zetlin of Bethesda, MD, and the United States National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team.
The U.S. Postal Service issued its first Love stamp in 1973.
