Chanel Animated Cara Delevingne for Gabrielle Handbag Campaign

Chanel animated Cara Delevingne for its a new campaign. The short film was directed by Shishi Yamazaki. The campaign promotes Chanel's new Gabrielle handbag.
Cara's cute animated character carries a skateboard. She is excited to find a Gabrielle bag and runs after it. Cara grabs the bag and carries it with her as she skateboards away.
The bag Cara pursues in the animation is Chanel's Gabrielle Hobo Bag in blue, red and yellow. It is an interesting campaign and much different than what was typically see from the fashion brands. The process to turn Cara into an animation included a detailed recreation of each scene. Cara did skateboard and reach for the bag to help create the scenes.
