Nest Unveils New Outdoor Security Camera

Nest has unveiled a new outdoor security camera. Nest Cam Outdoor is the second security camera launched by Nest. This camera uses a 25 foot long cable.

Venture Beat reports that Nest Cam Outdoor features two-way talk. This means you can use to speak to a person outside your door through the camera's speakers even if you are not home. It is this feature that might help the item become a bestseller in the security camera category.

The camera plugs into an outdoor outlet. This setup could easily be unplugged by a burglar but Nest says you will be alerted if the camera is unplugged and receive its final recordings on your phone. There is an app that enables you to interact with the camera. The camera will cost $199 and be sold through Best Buy and Nest's website this fall. Take a look:
