iRobot Launches the Braava Jet Mopping Robot

iRobot has announced the launch of its latest floor cleaning robot. The Braava jet robot mops hardwood floors including sealed wood floors, tile and stone. The robot can maneuver around obstacles and clean around furniture and along walls. It has three cleaning modes: wet, damp and dry.

The Braava jet requires the use of special cleaning pads. The pads contain a water-activated cleaning agent. The pads can be ejected by placing the bot over a trash can and pressing the eject button.

The robot will arrive in stores on April 1st. Prices will start at $199. The Braava jet cleaning pads cost $7.99 for a box of 10 cleaning pads. Here is a video of the robot in action:
