Microsoft's New Surface Pen Available for Pre-Order

Microsoft has made its new Surface Pen available for pre-order. Microsoft says the new pen "writes like pen on paper." It has 4,096 pressure points.

The pen uses a 1 AAAA battery (included). It is compatible with Surface, Studio, Surface Laptop, Surface Book, Surface Pro, Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3. It has a barrel button and tail eraser. The pen weighs .04 lbs (20g).

The are four color styles. The platinum model is available now and will ship on June 15. The other three colors - black, burgundy and cobalt blue - are not yet up for pre-order. The pen costs $99 and can be ordered on microsoft.com.
