Oregon Trail Computer Game Now Available as a Card Game

Posted on August 3, 2016

The Oregon Trail is one of the best known early computer games. The educational game created in the early 1970s involved getting your covered wagons safely from Missouri to Oregon along the 2,040 mile Oregon Trail. Often you would end up dying on your journey from dysentery.

The game features trail cards, calamity cards and supply cards. The playing time is about 30 minutes long. It is for two to four players. Just like in the computer game there are plenty of horrible ways to die.

The game costs $12.99 and is available exclusively at Target. It is currently only sold in Target stores. This video explains how to play the game.
