Papa John's Founder Warns Against Eating Too Many Slices of Pizza
Posted on February 6, 2009
Papa John's founder John Schnatter says pizza is very nutritious, but you have to limit yourself. He says you can't go eating "five or six slices."
CNN reports that Schnatter's warning came up when he was answering a question form presenter Adam Shaw about "whether he was concerned about the impact of the British government's anti-obesity drive on pizza sales."
Schnatter said, "No. Pizza's actually healthy for you if you don't eat too much of it. You can't eat five or six slices but if you eat one or two slices it's very nutritious."
It's good advice but it's not so easy to follow especially when they come out with delicious looking heart-shaped pizzas. It looks yummy, but don't eat too many slices!
When you order your partner the heart-shaped pizza from Papa John’s, roses are optional… Pizza’s better anyway. Order now for just $11! https://t.co/rIgAiuJfrM pic.twitter.com/v8gLqkjh7j
