Parrot to Launch Rolling Spider Drone in August

Parrot will release its new Rolling Spider drone in August. The drone has large detachable wheels that give it its rolling ability. It weighs 65 grams with the wheels and 55 grams without them.

The Rolling Spider drone can take off when thrown. It can flip and perform front and rear loops. The drone can reach a top speed of 11 mph. The propellers cut off in case of contact as a safety feature.

The quadrotor has a Bluetooth range of 20 meters. It comes with a free piloting app for iOS and Android. The drone is available in three colors, red, white and blue. It will be sold at Apple, Best Buy, Sprint and Verizon. The Rolling Spider will cost $99. Take a look:
