Samsung to Launch Star Wars Darth Vader and Stormtrooper Robotic Vacuums

Samsung has announced plans to launch Star Wars versions of its Powerbot robotic vacuums. The vacuum bot lineup will include a Darth Vader model and a Stormtrooper. The Powerbots stand 3.8 inches high. They can map every contour and aboid obstacles like table legs. The vacuums have a bristle brush and drop-down shutter. They can be controlled with a smartphone app.

Samsung says, "The latest Powerbot is a tribute to the galaxy of Star Wars. It’s smart enough to steer itself through your space, handle any terrain, avoid unexpected traps and make quick decisions. Most importantly, it answers to you."

The Darth Vader Powerbot costs $799 and the Stormtrooper costs $699.
