Snickers Launches Seasoning Blend

B&G Foods has announced the launch of Snickers Shakers Seasoning Blend. The seasoning features the caramel and peanut profile of Snickers candy bars. It arrives in stores this month.

B&G Foods collaborated with Mars last year for the Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend.

B&G says the seasoning blend can be sprinkled on foods and drinks. They recommend food and beverages like ice cream, cookies, milkshakes, cookies and yogurt. They also show the seasoning being used on pancakes in the released photograph.

Michelle Deignan, Senior Brand Director, Mars Wrigley, says in the announcement, "At Mars we are consumer obsessed and have noticed the clear desire that has emerged among consumers to be able to add the flavors of their favorite confections to both sweet and savory foods."
