Sonic the Hedgehog's Shoes Made for Humans
Posted on July 4, 2017
Sonic Hedgehog is a super-fast hedgehog created by Sega for a series of video games. There have been several instances where Sonic's cool red shoes have been remade to work for people.
Limited-edition Sonic sneakers were created in 2017 to celebrate the released of two new Sonic games. The games were unveiled at the E3 Expo in 2017. Japanese retailer Anippon collaborated with Sonic the Hedgehog to create the shoes. You can see what the Annipon shoes looked like on Kicks on Fire.
A more recent creation were the sonic shoes created by The Shoe Surgeon and Puma for the Sonic the Hedgehog film. Here's a video about how these shoes were made.
Finally, there were some plush Sonic slippers created a few years ago. They were not as stylish as the Anippon or Puma shoes but at least you can actually buy these. They are available on Amazon.com.
