Taylor Swift Collaborates With Stella McCartney on Fashion Collection
Posted on August 21, 2019
Taylor Swift has collaborated with fashion designer Stella McCartney for a collection called Stella X Taylor Swift. The clothes have the palette and vibe from Taylor's latest album, Lover, which also served as the inspiration for the collection.
Taylor and Stella had been hanging out in London and taking walks and having drinks together according to Vogue. This led to the fashion collaboration.

Taylor wrote in a tweet, " It’s been SO fun to dream up cute stuff with @StellaMcCartney to create a line inspired by my new album."
Stella told Vogue, "I couldn't believe that my name is in a Taylor Swift song (what?!?) and after Taylor played me the entire album it gave me such incredible inspiration for the collaboration and it really revolved around the music. When Taylor asked me, or even thought to come and do this with me, what I love is how we really complement each other in what we generate creatively together."
The collection includes jackets, bags, t-shirts, sweatshirts and more. Some of the imagery includes clouds, horses, cats and Taylor herself. Taylor's cat Benjamin Button is pictured on the shirt below. There will be a pop-up shop in New York City featuring the collection from August 23 to August 25.
