Commodore 64 Returns as More Powerful Machine, TheC64

The Commodore 64 is making a return. Commdore USA will bring back the computer with a dual-core 1.8 Ghz Intel Atom D525 processor, 2GB of RAM, 1 TB of memory, USB ports and Blu-ray drive. The original Commodore had just 64K of RAM. The computer will be sold without a monitor for $595. The L.A. Times reports that the new Commodore went on sale for the first time last week and sold out in 24 hours.
Update: The Commodore 64 first returned in 2011. Now it will return again in 2019. TheC64 from Retro Games will be available in stores for December 2019. It will have a fully functional keyboard, HDMI cable, micro switch USB joystick, 64 games pre-installed and more. You can find out the details on retrogames.biz.
