Mars Launches Twix Spread in the U.K.

Mars has launched Twix spread in the U.K. Twix is a chocolate and caramel candy bar with a biscuit on the inside. The Twix spread contains crunchy biscuit pieces.

There are several varieties of Twix, including a peanut butter version. There have also been numerous limited edition Twix bars. The only spread available so far is the standard Twix variety. The spread is also only available in the U.K. and not in the U.S.

The Mirror reports that Mars says the new spread works best on toast. Other options include adding the spread to pancakes, milkshakes and ice cream. The spread is sold in a 200 gram jar.

Twix spread joins a number of chocolate spreads on the market. Some of these include spreads from Nutella, Hershey's, MaraNatha, Jif, Reese's, Justin's and Walden Farms.
