Withings Unveils Withings Go Activity and Sleep Tracker at 2016 CES

Posted on March 2, 2016

Withings unveiled its new Withings Go activity and sleep tracker at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show. The tracker features a circular E Ink display.

The Go device can be worn three different ways. It tracks activities such as walking, running and swimming. It also tracks steps and sleep activity. It connects to an app that provides your activity and sleep data as you can see in the example below.

Withings says its Go device offers a button cell battery that last up to 8 months. The device is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

Amelie Caudron, Product Manager of Withings Go, says in a statement, "Withings prides itself in developing products that are both functional and elegantly designed. E Ink products gave us exactly that – a display technology that enhances rather than constrains the design."

CNET reports that it is expected to arrive in stores the first quarter of this year, which means it should be out soon. Withings Go is expected to retail for $69.95 which makes it cheaper than most fitness trackers on the market.

Update: Withings Go is now available. It costs $79.95 and is available in five different colors. You can find it here on withings.com.
